Ask The Experts

When I walk, the bottoms of my feet have a throbbing pain. It happens when I am walking and sitting, and I have been very fatigued.

Thank you for contacting IPFH. We do not diagnose or recommend treatments on line. Pain in the feet is not normal, so it is important for you to determine why your feet are hurting. Since you mention unusual fatigue, we would recommend that you make an appointment with your primary care physician, who can examine you and determine the reason for the fatigue and pain, and then make recommendations for treatments to address them. He or she might refer you to a foot health professional for the foot pain. You can use our Foot Pain Self-Assessment Tool to learn about possible causes of your foot pain, but please understand that this is not meant to be used as a diagnostic tool, nor is it a substitute for a professional medical opinion. The pain could be due to a number of various conditions, and the fatigue is something that needs to be addressed, so we urge you to seek an appointment with a medical professional at your first opportunity. We hope you will soon be feeling much better.
