I have pain at the top of my foot around the area of the outer most cuboid bone. If I turn my foot a certain way or if someone squeezes it (like my spouse did the other day) the pain is so intense that I'm nearly brought to tears. What can be causing this and is it serious (should I see a doctor)?
Thank you

Thank you for contacting IPFH. We do not diagnose conditions or recommend treatments. Whenever pain is present it is an indication that something is amiss -- your feet should not hurt. So we would always recommend that see your physician or a foot health professional to get a diagnosis and treatment. The intense pain you describe would lead us to suggest that you consult a medical professional at your earliest opportunity, and we hope you will do so and will soon be pain free.
