Foot Conditions A-Z
Plantar Fibroma
A plantar fibroma is a fibrous nodule in the arch of the foot, embedded within the plantar fascia. It can develop in one or both feet and is benign, meaning it is not a cancerous tumor.
Plantar fibromas usually grow slowly. More invasive, rapidly growing plantar fibromas are called “plantar fibromatosis,” which also is benign.
