BIRMINGHAM (December 6, 2010) – The Institute for Preventive Foot Health will present at the 2011 Oregon Diabetes Educators annual conference, April 9, 2011 in Tigard, OR.
IPFH executive director Robert P. (Bob) Thompson has been invited to make a general session presentation at this year’s ODE annual conference. Mr. Thompson’s presentation entitled “Why Good Feet Go Bad” will highlight the Institute’s National Foot Health Assessment research findings, discuss factors that cause foot problems in patients with diabetes (including foot changes that occur with the disease, activity and age); will review the important elements of a diabetes foot examination; and share how an Integrated Solution® can improve, if not eliminate, many foot problems (or prevent them from occurring in the first place). The conference is April 8-9, 2011.
