Product Quality Assurance Recognition

A Product Quality Assurance Recognition is awarded to products that contribute to preventive foot health by protecting the foot and/or preventing foot soft tissue (skin and fat pad) injury or
degradation. In order to prove the efficacy of the product(s), the applicant organization must submit to IPFH:
- Copies of all third-party, scientific, peer-reviewed, published documentation evidencing the fact that the applicant organization’s product being applied for does, in fact, statistically significantly contribute to preventive foot health by protecting the foot and/or preventing foot soft tissue injury or degradation. In the absence of published scientific documentation, the product must be FDA Class II registered.
- A statement from the applicant organization attesting that the advertising claims for the product being applied for will not exceed the findings of its published third-party testing results.
- A copy of the applicant organization’s consumer and professional marketing materials identifying the benefits of the product being applied for to achieve preventive foot health by protecting the foot and/or preventing foot soft tissue (skin or fat pad) injury or degradation.
- A sample of the applicant organization’s product being applied for that has been taken from a regular manufacturing production run.
