I’m a 62 year old female, and have no serious heart or lung disease. Perfect blood pressure, but noticed my fourth toe was numb after I took my shoe off and got an electrical jolt through my foot. When I was barefooted I noticed it. My toes 3, 4 and 5 are numb now.

Thank you for contacting us. IPFH does not diagnose conditions or dispense medical advice on line. You would be best served by consulting your primary care physician or a foot health specialist. A medical professional needs to examine you in order to determine what is causing the numbness and tingling you are experiencing, as these symptoms are not normal, and are consistent with several conditions that need to be properly diagnosed and treated. We hope you will contact your primary care physician or a foot health professional, and that you will very quickly be back to normal.
