Both of my feet hurt severely all the time. It is my entire foot. When i walk or stand it is worse, and after sleeping or resting I can barely walk for a few minutes because it is so painful. I am on my feet all night long at work but I have never experienced this kind of pain that I am experiencing now for the last 6 months or longer. I do have what appears to be a plantar wart on the bottom of my big toe on my right foot. Never had one of these before but it is painful.

Thank you for contacting IPFH. We do not diagnose or provide medical advice on line. You should consult your primary care physician or a foot health professional immediately. The type of pain and the severity you describe warrant your moving quickly to get a diagnosis and treatment. Once the source of the pain has been identified, then treatment options can be considered. Your doctor can also recommend footwear that is appropriate and comfortable for your work (for more information you may also want to check our article on Foot Health for People on the Job). You mention a plantar wart as well. This can be painful, but it is not likely the primary reason for the pain that you describe throughout both feet, and a foot health professional also can treat the wart. We hope you will consult a medical professional at your earliest opportunity, and that you will soon have some relief for your pain.
