I have an inflamed nerve on the top of my foot. I can barely walk on it and there is nothing but shooting pain going through my entire foot. I asked doctors to treat it and they refuse. I have lupus and they think it may be the results of a flare up I had 2 weeks prior. What do I do now?

Thank you for contacting us. IPFH does not provide diagnostic or medical advice on line. You do not say who your doctor is or why he/she refuses to treat you, but if you go to a hospital emergency room or an urgent care clinic, they will examine you, and treat you if they can. If your regular physician refuses to treat you, you might also seek treatment from another physician. Under any circumstance, based on the serious pain you describe you should seek medical advice and treatment. Not knowing the details of your situation, that is about the best advice we can provide. We wish you the best.
