Ask The Experts
What could be causing numbness and redness in bottom of foot and two left toes? It has been about 2 weeks. I have not had blood work done to see if I am diabetic.
Thank you for contacting IPFH. We do not diagnose or recommend medical treatments on line. You should consult your primary care physician or a foot health medical professional. He or she can determine the reason for this redness and numbness and recommend appropriate treatment. If you suspect you have diabetes, your primary care physician can make that determination by analyzing your blood sugar level, so your best place to start is probably with him or her. If your primary care doctor thinks you should see a foot health specialist, he or she can refer you. We hope you will do this at your earliest opportunity and that you will soon have a good diagnosis and be back on track.
