Ask The Experts

I am suffering from peripheral neuropathy and my feet soles are burning. Can it be cured? Thank you.

Thank you for contacting IPFH. We do not diagnose or provide medical advice on line. You say that you have peripheral neuropathy, so presumably you have consulted a physician who has diagnosed you. Your best bet is to pose any questions you have to that physician, and consult with him/her to get a recommended treatment approach. If you were not diagnosed by a medical professional, the first thing you should do is to visit your primary care physician or a foot health professional to get a diagnosis. Either way, you definitely need to be under the care of a medical professional, as neuropathy can have consequences for your feet, and it is critical that you follow specific procedures to take special care of them. You can learn more at our page on neuropathy, but we hope that you will take the urgent and specific first step of consulting a medical professional and following his or her recommendations. We wish you the best.
