Ask The Experts

I have a cheerleader that when she does a back handspring she has pain on top of her second toe.

Thank you for contacting IPFH. We do not diagnose or recommend treatments on line. The pain she is experiencing could be coming from one or more of several conditions, so the best thing to do is to have her examined by her primary care physician or a foot health professional. It's virtually impossible to determine the best treatment until an accurate diagnosis has been provided. We hope you and she will consult a medical professional, and that she will soon be pain free during handsprings (and all other activities as well).
