Symptoms of Haglund’s deformity include:
- A prominent bump on the back of the calcaneus (heel);
- Pain, swelling, and redness in the area.
Because symptoms can be similar to those of bursitis, your physician may take x-rays or other imaging tests to confirm the diagnosis.
