Haglund's Deformity

Symptoms of Haglund’s Deformity

Symptoms of Haglund’s deformity include:

  • A prominent bump on the back of the calcaneus (heel);
  • Pain, swelling, and redness in the area.

Because symptoms can be similar to those of bursitis, your physician may take x-rays or other imaging tests to confirm the diagnosis.
