Symptoms of Posterior Tibial Tendinitis
Symptoms of posterior tibial tendinitis include the following:
- Pain or tenderness on the medial side (inside) of the ankle and mid-foot.
- Pain may initially occur only during activity, but may progress so that it is constant even without activity.
- Swelling and/or redness in the ankle area, particularly on the medial side.
- Pain that intensifies with flexion or rotation of ankle.
