What causes cold toes?

Thank you for contacting IPFH. We do not diagnose conditions or provide medical advice on line. The most common cause for cold toes is simply exposure of your feet to cold air or cold/wet environments. However, there are several systemic conditions that can lead to cold sensations in the toes. You can read about them at our page on cold feet. Some of these conditions are serious, so if you are experiencing this sensation, it would be wise for you to consult your primary care physician or a foot health professional. He or she can help determine what is going on that is causing the coldness in the toes, and can then recommend treatment to address the condition. We hope this information is helpful.
